UAE readies 9th Gaza aid ship under ‘Chivalrous Knight 3’

Sharjah 24 – WAM: Under the directives of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler’s Representative in the Al Dhafra Region and Chairman of the Emirates Red Crescent (ERC), preparations are underway for the ninth aid ship as part of Operation Chivalrous Knight 3. The ship will carry urgent humanitarian and relief supplies for those affected in the Gaza Strip.

Humanitarian initiative backed by UAE leadership

The initiative aligns with the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, who launched Operation Chivalrous Knight 3 to bolster humanitarian support and alleviate the suffering of the Palestinian people amid the ongoing crisis.

7,000 tonnes of aid to be delivered

The ninth aid ship will be loaded with approximately 7,000 tonnes of essential food supplies and is scheduled to depart in the coming days. This shipment is a response to the worsening humanitarian conditions in Gaza and aims to meet urgent living needs.

Continued humanitarian commitment

Since the launch of the operation, the UAE has dispatched eight aid ships carrying thousands of tonnes of food, medical supplies, and shelter materials. These have been delivered through an ongoing sea and air bridge, reflecting the UAE’s unwavering commitment to supporting the Palestinian people in times of crisis.
