DGR, Anwar Gargash Academy sign MOU at IGCF

Sharjah24: Sheikh Fahim Bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Department of Government Relations (DGR) , stated that the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signed between the department and the Anwar Gargash Diplomatic Academy, within the framework of the International Government Communication Forum (IGCF) , aims to develop the competencies of government personnel in the diplomatic field, enhance government communication, and strengthen the exchange of experiences between both parties.

During the events of the 14th edition of the International Government Communication Forum, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between Department of Government Relations and Anwar Gargash Diplomatic Academy, in the presence of Sheikh Fahim Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Department, and Dr Mohammed Ibrahim Al Dhahiri, Deputy Director General of the Academy.

Sheikh Fahim Al Qasimi emphasised in statements to "Sharjah 24" that the memorandum aims to develop the competencies of government personnel in the diplomatic field, enhance government communication, and strengthen the exchange of experiences between both sides.

He affirmed that this partnership represents a qualitative addition to the development of government and diplomatic work in the emirate, and aims to qualify national personnel and empower them with the latest knowledge and skills required for the demands of the 21st century.

He also praised the significant role of the Sharjah Government Media Bureau
in the excellent organisation of the forum, which contributes to enhancing the emirate's status as a leading center for dialogue and the exchange of experiences at the international level.

The signing took place during the forum, which is considered a leading global platform for exchanging experiences and enhancing cooperation in the field of government and public diplomatic communication.
