The winners were honoured in a ceremony attended by key figures, including Abdulmalik Jani, Vice-Chairman of the Sharjah Sports Council and Chairman of the UAE Triathlon Federation; Mubarak Al Shamsi, Director of Al Hamriyah Municipality; Major Mohammed Abdul Salam Loutaah, Head of Al Hamriyah Police Station; Captain Mohammed Abdel Aziz, Director of the Traffic Department branch; Salem Ali Al Khayyal and Engineer Ali Ahmed Al Mehairi, members of the Al Hamriya Club Board; Bakhit Saeed Al Qursi, Director of Sports and Community Events; and Youssef Al Housni, Head of Event Planning and Execution at the Council.
In the citizens' sprint category, Yusuf Al Hani secured first place, followed by Hazaa Al Kaabi in second, and Zayed Ali in third. The open men’s category saw David Andor take first place, with Hamad Al Mansoori in second, and Peter Campbell in third. In the women's sprint category, Gemma Brown finished first, Jo Murphy came second, and Karligash Kairebkova took third.
Among men's sprint teams, the duo of Abdulrahman Rashad and Ahmed Al Naqbi claimed first place, followed by Yaseen Omar and Ibrahim Raslan in second, and Ahmed Alaa and Abdul Khaleq Faris in third. In the women’s team category, Kulthum Al Mazmi and Khadija Al Naqbi secured the top spot, while Donna Christie and Danica Joy came in second.
In the super sprint citizens' category, Mohammed Abdullah Al Naqbi came first, followed by Hamad Al Sreidi in second place and Abdullah Mohammed in third. In the open men's super sprint, Abdullah Amr won first place, with Tai Glicksman and Muadh Amr taking second and third respectively. The women’s super sprint category saw Jessica Slade in first place, Kira Avaryella in second, and Millie Slade in third.
In the junior boys’ category, Bradley James came in first, followed by Alexander Papin in second and Alex Taylor in third. For the girls, Gavriel Serrano won first place, with Aveline San and Dia Harini placing second and third respectively.
The Al Hamriyah Aquathlon highlighted the emirate’s dedication to encouraging sports participation across all segments of society. The event not only celebrated athletic talent but also served as a platform to promote healthy and active lifestyles, reinforcing Sharjah’s vision of making sports a vital part of community well-being.
