Draw settles Khorfakkan vs Baniyas in ADIB Cup

Sharjah 24: A 2-2 draw decided the clash between Khorfakkan and Baniyas, played at Saqr bin Mohammed Al Qasimi Stadium in the first leg of the ADIB Cup opening round.

Second leg outlook

The result leaves all possibilities open ahead of the return leg, set to take place next Saturday at Baniyas Stadium.

Khorfakkan goals

Khorfakkan’s goals came through Tarik Tissoudali in the 40th minute, and an own goal by Baniyas player Khalid Al Hashemi in the 68th minute.

Baniyas goals

For Baniyas, Ahmed Al Hosani of Khorfakkan scored an own goal in the 23rd minute, before João Victor added a second in the 54th minute.
