UAE completes 79th airdrop of aid to Gaza

Sharjah 24 – WAM: The UAE has completed its 79th airdrop of humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip, reinforcing its commitment to supporting the Palestinian people. This mission is part of the “Birds of Goodness” operation, carried out in cooperation with Jordan, and with the participation of Germany and Indonesia.

Essential relief delivered

The latest airdrop included vital food supplies, prepared with assistance from Emirati charitable institutions, to help meet the urgent needs of Gaza’s population amid deteriorating humanitarian conditions.

Over 4,000 tonnes of aid delivered

With this latest operation, the total aid provided under the initiative has now exceeded 4,052 tonnes. The deliveries include food items and essential relief materials, underscoring the UAE’s continued dedication to easing the plight of the Palestinian people.
