UAE delivers aid to Gaza under 'Operation Chivalrous Knight 3'

Sharjah 24 – WAM: As part of its ongoing humanitarian mission Operation Chivalrous Knight 3, the UAE sent four aid convoys into Gaza via the Rafah border crossing in Egypt last week. The shipments included 76 trucks loaded with over 1,419 tonnes of diverse humanitarian aid.

Comprehensive aid packages delivered

The aid delivered comprised food supplies, medical materials, shelter equipment, and desalination systems. These essential supplies aim to address the urgent needs of the Palestinian population amid the ongoing crisis.

Supervision and logistics oversight

The UAE’s humanitarian relief team stationed in Al Arish ensured the meticulous loading, transfer, and delivery of the aid across the Rafah border. The team also closely monitors the field distribution to ensure effective and timely assistance to beneficiaries.

Total aid since border reopening

Since the reopening of border crossings and the beginning of the truce, the UAE has delivered a total of 6,775 tonnes of aid via 325 trucks. These efforts significantly contribute to reducing the suffering of vulnerable populations and fulfilling essential needs in Gaza.
