Sharjah 24: Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher bint Mohammed Al Qasimi, wife of His Highness the Ruler of Sharjah and Chairperson of the Sharjah Family and Community Council, highlighted how Sharjah has achieved success through a long history of nurturing and developing people's talents from a young age. She emphasized that this commitment opens up numerous opportunities for individuals in Sharjah, enabling them to unlock their potential and become leaders who can serve their communities and country with their expertise.

This announcement aligns with the launch of a new initiative called "From Here the Beginning," organized by the Rubu' Qarn for Creating Future Leaders and Innovators, which is part of the Sharjah Family and Community Council. This important initiative marks 40 years of investing in the development of people, commemorating the anniversary of a cultural project initiated by His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah. This project has focused on growing human talent from childhood into young adulthood, emphasizing comprehensive development and support.

Her Highness Sheikha Jawaher remarked that this initiative marks a significant milestone in the Foundation's journey with those who have been part of its story, emphasizing that the doors will always remain open for graduates, allowing them to contribute to the future of "Rubu' Qarn," just as they helped shape its beginnings. She stated, “The Rubu’ Qarn journey symbolizes fresh chapters of humanitarian giving, where the values of nurturing generations come together with the vision of skill development and leadership creation. After forty years of investment, we have cultivated a generation that is conscious of its responsibilities, equipped with knowledge as a tool and creativity as a message. Investing in people has always been a strong approach, passed down from one generation to the next, flourishing in the present while laying the groundwork for a future where energies are revitalized and horizons broadened. Today, the graduates of this journey represent the fruits of Sharjah’s most important investment. Having been nurtured in the centers during their childhood, building their dreams and ambitions within the walls of 'Rubu’ Qarn,' they now stand as young leaders in their thirties, heading the Rubu’ Qarn centers and extending the same care and attention to the next generation. Through their efforts, they repay their country by enhancing their expertise and contribute to society, solidifying Sharjah’s status among nations, ensuring the emirate remains a brilliant example of empowering individuals and fostering a sustainable cultural impact."

Her Highness addressed the graduates of the Rubu’ Qarn institutions by saying, “You are the shining pages of a journey that commenced forty years ago, and within you, boundless ambitions are blossoming. Rubu’ Qarn was your first home, nurturing your childhood innocence and accompanying you as you grew into young men and women, carrying the values and principles that will shape a future with wider horizons and a deeper impact for your country. The seeds of goodness and knowledge we’ve sown together will not be complete without your contributions. You are the seeds of which we are proud, and we hope you will benefit your community. Stay true to your journey, committed to your message, and resolved to continue a legacy that has made humanity the most valuable asset Sharjah has invested in, generation after generation.”

This step marks the exciting end of a journey that started in 1985 when the first specialized centers for caring for children and youth were established. These centers laid the groundwork for what is now known as the "Rubu’ Qarn for Creating Future Leaders and Innovators" Foundation. This important organization is the first of its kind in the Arab world and aims to empower young people for generations to come.

The Foundation includes four main groups: Sharjah Children, Sharjah Youth, Sajaya Young Ladies of Sharjah, and Sharjah for Capability Development. Together, these organizations provide quality programs that help young people develop their skills and knowledge over the past 25 years.

A key part of this initiative is launching the "Alumni Platform." This is an online tool designed to keep in touch with graduates of the Foundation's programs. There will also be a special national gathering where graduates can come together, share their experiences, and celebrate their achievements. This platform will help the Foundation see how its programs have impacted graduates after they leave and create a database to improve communication and support among them. The goal is to foster a vibrant community where graduates can collaborate, seek guidance, and share their knowledge.

To support this initiative, the Foundation has kicked off a digital media campaign aimed at graduates aged 18 and older. The campaign encourages them to engage, participate, and sign up for the alumni platform. This effort is part of a bigger vision to strengthen the feeling of belonging and connection to the Foundation while building strong communication channels between different generations.
