SSC discusses preparations for new season

Sharjah 24: The Sharjah Sports Council recently held a meeting with representatives from Sharjah, Kalba, and Al Bataeh Football Clubs to discuss preparations for the upcoming season of the ADNOC Professional League. The meeting included key figures such as His Excellency Issa Hilal Al Hazami, Chairman of the Council, and other officials from the football clubs. Unfortunately, Dr Ammar Rashid Al Naqbi from Khorfakkan Football Company could not attend due to an emergency.

During the meeting, Al Hazami highlighted the strong support from His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, for sports and athletes. He stated that the Council is following the directives of the Ruler and is committed to providing everything the clubs need to prepare for the new season, aiming for continued excellent performance. Al Hazami also acknowledged the efforts of the teams over the past season, while noting that there are always new challenges and goals to strive for.

The leaders of the three football clubs thanked the Council for its ongoing support and for keeping close tabs on the clubs’ progress. They expressed optimism about the meeting's positive outcome and their commitment to achieving success, representing Sharjah both locally and internationally.
