Ghabesh stated that the program includes a series of educational and entertainment activities for both adults and children, with the participation of delegations from the Gulf Cooperation Council and the Arab Republic of Egypt, aiming to highlight the significance of the palm tree and its role in Arab cultural heritage.
In exclusive statements to "Sharjah 24", Ghabesh explained that the event features interactive workshops for children and adults, alongside a dedicated exhibition showcasing palm tree products, including a variety of traditional foods and handicrafts made from palm fronds, reflecting the richness of the traditional crafts associated with palm cultivation.
She added that the program also includes two intellectual sessions: a panel discussion with the participation of several guests and experts, followed by a poetry evening featuring a distinguished group of poets from the participating countries.
Aisha Obaid Ghabesh invited the public to attend this unique cultural event, which will be held at the Institute’s premises from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., offering visitors the opportunity to enjoy diverse activities and discover the deep symbolism of the palm tree in Arab heritage.
