Sharjah 24: The Board of Directors of the Sharjah International Marine Sports Club recently held a meeting led by Khalid bin Jassim Al Midfa. He welcomed the members and the club's General Manager, thanking everyone for their hard work in helping the club grow.

During the meeting, they reviewed the minutes from the last meeting, talked about a few important recommendations, and looked over financial reports, as well as updates on the Formula One team's activities abroad.

Exciting news was shared as the board approved the launch of five summer camps in various cities: Sharjah, Al Hamriyah, Kalba, Khorfakkan, and Dibba Al Hisn. These camps will work in partnership with the Ministry of Sports, the Sharjah Sports Council, and local youth centers.

The summer camps will run from early July to mid-August and are designed to introduce children and young people to water sports. The goal is to provide a fun and educational environment where participants can develop their skills and enjoy a memorable summer.

Al Midfa highlighted that these camps are part of the club's plan to promote marine sports and find new talent. He emphasized the importance of inspiring young people to love water sports and ensuring they receive quality training from experienced instructors. This initiative aligns with Sharjah’s vision of nurturing a healthy and athletic future generation that appreciates its maritime heritage.

He also expressed gratitude to the Ministry of Sports, the Sharjah Sports Council, and youth centers for their support. The summer program will feature a variety of activities, including rowing, surfing, and water racing, all while maintaining high safety standards.
