Sharjah Police to raise personnel's cybersecurity efficiency

Sharjah 24: Lieutenant Colonel Sultan bin Taliah, who leads the Digital Crimes Department at the Sharjah Police, recently spoke about the "Towards a Secure Digital Corporate Community" forum. This event aims to teach people how to protect themselves and their organizations from online threats like cyber-attacks and scams.

In an interview with Sharjah 24, Colonel Bin Taliah emphasized that everyone—from children to the elderly—needs to be aware of these issues. To help educate the community, they have started discussion groups in schools and universities, as well as community councils in neighborhoods across Sharjah. He mentioned that the forum focused on important topics such as keeping personal information safe online and learning how to use tools that can help prevent cyber threats. Additionally, they are working to raise awareness among government employees about the importance of practicing safe online habits.
