Al Hamriyah Port Fire Response: Honouring Bravery and Competence

Sharjah24: His Excellency Mubarak Rashid Al Shamsi, Director of Al Hamriyah Municipality, honoured work teams from various departments and divisions within the municipality in appreciation of their active participation and field efforts during the response to Al Hamriyah Port fire.

This honouring, held on Friday followed the official recognition given to Al Hamriyah Municipality, among the local and federal government agencies involved in containing the fire. The ceremony took place during a reception held by His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, for the officials of these agencies at the Ruler's Office, in the presence of Sheikh Khalid bin Abdullah Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Sharjah Ports, Customs and Free Zones Authority.

Teams competence and prepardiness

During the ceremony, His Highness the Crown Prince commended the efforts of all national teams involved in responding to the incident, stressing that "crises demonstrate the competence and preparedness of national teams in facing urgent challenges." He praised the rapid response and integration between agencies, as well as the wise leadership's commitment to the highest levels of preparedness and coordination.

During the onouring ceremony, His Excellency Mubarak Rashid Al Shamsi conveyed the greetings of His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, and His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler of Sharjah, to the municipality's work teams. He commended their efforts and dedication, which, along with other teams, contributed to controlling the fire in record time without any human losses.

Supporting teams

Al Shamsi emphasised that Al Hamriyah Municipality will continue to fully support its teams and staff, and will work continuously to enhance their field capabilities and enhance their emergency response capabilities, as part of the municipality's vision to maintain public safety and the infrastructure of Al Hamriyah area.

At the conclusion of the ceremony, Al Shamsi distributed certificates of appreciation to the participating employees, praising the team spirit and institutional cooperation demonstrated by the municipality's staff during the crisis.
