150 Players Compete in Central Region Clubs Sports Championship

Sharjah24: His Excellency Mohammed Sultan Al Khasouni, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Maliha Cultural and Sports Club, announced the launch of the first edition of the Central Region Clubs’ Sports Championship for Swimming and Basketball.

150 players

The championship will feature the participation of 150 players from clubs in the Central Region. The championship is sponsored by His Excellency Rashid Abdullah Al Mahyan and organized by the Sharjah Sports Council (SSC) in cooperation with the Central Region Parents' Council.

His Excellency Mohammed Sultan Al Khasouni, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Maliha Cultural and Sports Club, revealed the organisation of the Central Region Clubs Sports Championship for Swimming and Basketball, which will be held for the first time at the Maliha Cultural and Sports Club.

Speaking exclusively to Sharjah 24, Al Khasouni explained that the championship saw positive interaction from clubs in the Central Region, with 150 players from the junior and youth categories participating in swimming and football.

The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Maliha Cultural and Sports Club thanked His Excellency Rashid Abdullah Al Mahyan for sponsoring the tournament and supporting the clubs, appreciating SSC role in caring for everything that serves the clubs and players.
