Al Hawami Suburb Council holds meeting to enhance comm.

Sharjah24: The Al Hawami Suburb Council, part of the Districts Affairs Department, held its regular meeting on May 24, 2025, in Khorfakkan. The meeting was led by His Excellency Khalid Ahmed Bouhandi, Council Chairman, with the Vice Chairman, council members, and staff present at the suburb's headquarters in Sharjah.

Community Engagement Focus

The council discussed several agenda items, mainly focusing on improving communication with residents and planning upcoming community initiatives. These efforts aim to strengthen family ties and build a closer community.

Service Improvement Plans

The council reviewed development proposals to enhance services for Al Hawami residents. These initiatives align with the council's goal of improving quality of life and follow the guidance of His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, a Supreme Council Member and the Ruler of Sharjah, to make councils active community platforms.

Addressing Resident Needs

The meeting emphasised the importance of gathering feedback from residents. The council plans to share these insights with the relevant authorities, working with the Department of Suburbs and Villages Affairs to better meet resident needs and improve community responsiveness.
