Sharjah24: The Arab Cultural Club in Sharjah recently held a seminar titled “Science Fiction Literature for Children in the Age of Artificial Intelligence.” The lecture was delivered by researcher Sami Mahmoud Taha and moderated by media professional Amjad Touma, with attendance from a number of intellectuals and enthusiasts in the field of children's literature.

Child Literature Importance

In his opening remarks, moderator Amjad Touma emphasised the importance of children's literature in shaping various aspects of a child's personality and intellectual development, noting its essential role in nurturing imagination and critical thinking.

Sami Mahmoud began his lecture by stating that science fiction literature for children is more necessary than ever in an era of rapid scientific advancement.
