The four-day programme, attended by 51 male and female employees from various entities, institutions, and departments within the Sharjah government, addressed the legal framework for the document management system in government agencies, the scope of the unified system for classifying and retaining documents and files, and the implementation of the paper and electronic document management system.
The programme also addressed the concepts and types of government documents, and explained the objectives of the classification system, which ensures speed and accuracy in retrieving documents, facilitates document preservation, and protects them, ensuring business continuity with quality and efficiency.
The training included an explanation of vital document management, mechanisms for classifying documents according to confidentiality levels, the destruction of sensitive information, and document selection steps. It also covered the preparation of halls for storing government documents, including general specifications and approved preventive measures.
