Mansoor bin Mohammed leads UAE at GCC Olympic meeting in Kuwait

Sharjah 24 – WAM: His Highness Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed led the UAE delegation at the 37th GCC Olympic Committees meeting in Kuwait, joined by senior sports officials.

UAE to host 2026 Sports Law Conference

The UAE’s proposal to host the first Sports Law and Management Conference in 2026 was approved, focusing on governance, digital sports management, arbitration, and investment.

Qatar, Kuwait to host Future GCC Games

Qatar was approved to host the 2026 GCC Sports Games, and Kuwait the 2028 Youth Games, with strong emphasis on women's participation and fair play.

New initiatives endorsed

Plans were endorsed for a Gulf Women’s Sports Hackathon and expanded use of a unified digital platform to boost regional engagement in women's sports.

Future meetings and events

The UAE will coordinate the next GCC Olympic Committees meeting and oversee planning for multi-sport events through 2032.
