Al Shamsi explained to “Sharjah 24” that the institute features an integrated medical team that includes various specialties such as gynecological oncology surgeries, breast cancer, gastrointestinal cancer, and urology, in addition to providing palliative care for advanced-stage patients.

Social responsibility and patient support

He also emphasised the institute's commitment to its community role by providing free consultations to the uninsured at the hospital. He said, "This is one of our societal duties, especially as we mark the Year of the Community." He emphasised that the opening of this new branch reinforces the institute's efforts to provide comprehensive care to cancer patients and ease the burden on patients and their families.
