Sharjah24: To mark International Workers' Day, the Sharjah Electricity, Water and Gas Authority (SEWA) organised a series of events aimed at motivating workers and acknowledging their contributions. The initiative featured the distribution of practical gifts and supplies, emphasising social responsibility and fostering a workplace environment that meets the highest standards.

Leadership-Driven Support

SEWA highlighted its commitment to its workforce, following the guidance of His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member, Ruler of Sharjah. This commitment is demonstrated through efforts to enhance skills and provide an optimal work environment. A significant portion of SEWA's workforce consists of laborers who have played a crucial role in achieving strategic objectives and advancing infrastructure projects in electricity, water, and natural gas, while delivering excellent services to Sharjah's residents.

Essential Development Partners

The Authority reaffirmed its dedication to motivating workers, viewing them as essential partners in the ongoing journey of development and progress. Their critical role and relentless efforts are vital for maintaining 24/7 service operations and ensuring the efficient delivery of high-quality services.

Needs-Based Planning

SEWA also committed to conducting studies to better understand the needs of its workers, ensuring the provision of a world-class work environment that adheres to international standards.

Workers Express Gratitude

Workers conveyed their appreciation for the events and the care they receive, indicating that SEWA’s initiatives reflect a strategic approach to recognising the efforts of all job categories.
