SHRD hosts an open recruitment event with 17 private entities

Sharjah 24: The Sharjah Human Resources Department (SHRD) held an open recruitment day in collaboration with 17 entities from throughout the UAE. The project took place at the Sharjah Cultural Palace in partnership with the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation and the Emirati Talent Competitiveness Council ("Nafis").

181 job vacancies offered across the UAE

The event held job interviews to nominate applicants for 181 job openings at participating companies that benefit from the Nafis government programme. The interviews targeted Emirati job searchers with high school diplomas, diplomas, or bachelor's degrees in various sectors with open positions in Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, Dubai, Sharjah, Ras Al Khaimah, and Fujairah.

215 jobseekers explore career opportunities

A total of 215 jobseekers registered in SHRD's electronic system attended the open day, where they were presented with work requirements and employment possibilities to assist them in selecting careers that best match their qualifications and career objectives.

Strengthening Emirati workforce integration

SHRD is stepping up its efforts to develop and engage national talent in the private sector by strengthening collaborations with supportive institutions and private organisations. These activities are intended to benefit the general good and contribute to the country's sustainable development goals.
