Morgan Sanson, who started his first match after a seven-month absence due to an ankle fracture, scored twice for Nice (34, 46), along with Burundi’s Yusuf Ndayishimiye (70). PSG's only goal came from Spanish player Fabian Ruiz (41).
This defeat ended PSG's hopes of achieving an unprecedented unbeaten season in Ligue 1, breaking the record set by Nantes in the 1994-1995 season, who lost their first match after 32 games.
