Sharjah 24: The Oklahoma City Thunder, the top seed in both the regular season and the Western Conference, is on the verge of reaching the second round of the NBA playoffs after defeating the Memphis Grizzlies 114-108.

The Thunder accomplished a miraculous comeback, rallying from a 29-point deficit late in the first half (40-69) to secure a crucial victory, capitalising on the injury to Grizzlies star Ja Morant, who exited the game with a hip ailment.

31 Points

As usual, Canadian star Shai Gilgeous-Alexander led the way with 31 points, while Jalen Williams added 26 and Chet Holmgren scored 23 of his 24 points in the second half, putting their team one win away from advancing to the second round — a feat they could accomplish tomorrow, Saturday, in Game 4 of the best-of-seven series.
