Prof. Amira highlighted the breadth of this year’s showcase, featuring fifty projects spanning all college departments: twenty-one from Computer Engineering, twenty-one from Computer Science, and eight from Information Systems. Each project harnessed AI to devise practical solutions for real-world challenges, from healthcare and transportation to security, data analytics, and drone technology. Prof. Amira praised the students’ advanced technical skills and acknowledged the college’s industry partners for their ongoing support of research and education in computing and informatics.
The exhibition’s sponsors, representing both public and private sectors, introduced their initiatives aimed at empowering students to turn ideas into actionable projects. Notably, Sharjah Entrepreneurship Center (Sheraa) offered training and funding opportunities for young entrepreneurs, while Binance and Veryx sponsored awards for the best research projects, reaffirming their commitment to innovation and entrepreneurship in cutting-edge technology and network security.
