Central Region Quran Award celebrates 142 memorisers

Sharjah 24: Saleh Balleith Al Tunaiji, Director of the Sharjah Noble Quran and Sunnah Establishment's Central Region Office, announced that the 15th edition of the Central Region Quran Award saw the participation of 400 male and female contestants. Out of these, 142 memorisers—both boys and girls—qualified across various categories of the award.

Honouring the Winners

The Sharjah Noble Quran and Sunnah Establishment held a special ceremony to honour the distinguished group of Quran memorisers who won in this year’s edition. The event was attended by a number of officials as well as the families of the contestants.

A Message of Gratitude to the Ruler of Sharjah

Al Tunaiji extended his deepest thanks and appreciation to His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah. He praised His Highness’s generous support and ongoing commitment to the Establishment, which annually celebrates a new generation of Quran memorisers and fosters a spirit of excellence in memorisation and recitation.

A Spirit of Beautiful Competition

In a statement to “Sharjah 24,” Al Tunaiji highlighted the beauty of the competition in this year’s edition, noting the high level of skill and mastery displayed by the participants in memorising and reciting the Quran.
