Fifteen Emirati men and women, aged 13 to 18, participated in the programme.
This programme is an extension of the first phase, which was implemented last year, when a Moroccan youth delegation was hosted in the Emirate of Sharjah.
The programme is part of the Foundation's vision to build bridges of cultural and intellectual cooperation between the younger generations of both countries and to foster a spirit of dialogue and openness through the direct exchange of experiences and expertise in diverse environments that enrich the awareness of young people and broaden their horizons.
The trip included field visits to several Moroccan regions and cities, including Tangier, Tetouan, Chefchaouen, Rabat, Casablanca, and Asilah. The delegation was briefed on various youth and community activities and initiatives, most notably "Even I Am Cayna," "Walad El Houma," and "Shababi Ra's Mali."
The participants also visited cultural and youth centres that reflect the vitality of the Moroccan cultural scene and its focus on empowering youth and women.
Abdul Hamid Al Yasi, head of the delegation, expressed his pride in the participants' achievements and knowledge gained during the trip, saying that participants returned with new insights and valuable experiences that enhance their social awareness and develop their spirit of leadership and initiative. The foundation is confident that what they gained during this trip will have a significant impact on shaping their future personalities and motivating them to launch projects and initiatives that benefit their community in Sharjah.
