Sharjah 24 – WAM: Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, UAE Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, emphasised the historic and strategic relationship between the UAE and France at the CCI France UAE Annual Gala Dinner in Abu Dhabi. The event welcomed over 800 high-level guests from both nations, highlighting a shared commitment to innovation, culture, and economic cooperation.

From heritage to innovation
Themed “From Heritage to Innovation,” the evening reflected on the importance of preserving cultural identity while embracing modern development. Sheikh Nahyan praised the Chamber’s role in fostering mutual understanding and highlighted the UAE’s commitment to building the future on the foundation of its rich heritage.

Honouring innovation and collaboration
Business awards were presented to standout initiatives, including the start-up SYP – Shake Your Plants and the joint venture Nojoom. The event showcased projects that blended tradition with cutting-edge ideas, promoting sustainability and cultural respect.

A vision for the future
CCI France UAE, the largest network of Francophone professionals in the region, continues to serve as a vital link between the two countries. Sheikh Nahyan concluded by reaffirming the UAE’s dedication to strengthening bilateral ties and advancing shared prosperity through science, culture, and innovation.
