Haitham bin Saqr attends cultural heritage forum held in Kalba

Sharjah24: Sheikh Haitham bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Deputy Head of the Ruler’s Office in Kalba, attended the “Heritage: A Bridge Across Generations” forum on Thursday. The event was organised by the Emirates Retirees Association at the Kalba Literary Council, affiliated with the Department of Culture.

Community Awareness Emphasised

Dr. Obaid Saleh Al Mukhtan, the Chairman of the Emirates Retirees Association, reaffirmed the association's dedication to enhancing awareness among diverse segments of society, with a particular focus on Emirati heritage and traditions. In an interview with “Sharjah24” during the forum, he emphasized the significant contributions of retirees to the community, in serving the community through their life, professional, and academic experiences.

Collaboration and Participation

Al Mukhtan highlighted that the forum took place in collaboration with the Department of Culture and was held under the patronage and attendance of Sheikh Haitham bin Saqr Al Qasimi. A significant turnout of officials and retirees from diverse fields, particularly within the education and heritage sectors, marked the event.
