Sharjah 24: As part of its strategic vision to develop the skills of young people and hone their creative abilities, Sharjah Youth, an affiliate of the Rubu' Qarn Foundation for Creating Future Leaders and Innovators, will launch the "Spring Youth Camp" in April. The camp targets 13-18-year-olds, and offers an integrated experience that combines learning, exploration, and self-development.

Interactive programmes

The camp aims to enable participants to discover their passion and develop their talents through a diverse range of interactive programmes and specialised workshops. It also organises trips abroad to enhance cultural exchange and deepen ties between Sharjah Youth and their peers from around the world.

International exchange

The "Spring Youth Camp" focuses on developing skills in four main tracks: cinematic arts, fine arts, literature and languages, and life skills. This is achieved through quality programmes offered at Sharjah Youth centres across the emirate, in addition to international activities outside the UAE borders. This contributes to creating an environment that stimulates creativity and builds self-confidence.

One of the camp's highlights is a trip to the Kingdom of Morocco as part of the second edition of the Youth Exchange Programme. This ten-day cultural and tourism program provides participants with a unique opportunity to gain new knowledge and interact with multiple cultures, promoting the values of diversity and cultural openness.

“Mujawara”

The camp also will see the launch of a new project, "Mujawara – Rubu’ Qarn Creative Writing Programme", which offers an advanced experience in the arts and methods of modern writing. Mujawara means proximity, interaction, and exchange, and it expresses the essence of the programme, as participants come together to share stories and hone their creative writing skills through an interactive experience, not just a traditional workshop.

Specialised programmes

The programme also includes the "Film Making and Production" programme, which gives participants the opportunity to delve deeper into the world of cinema and directing. The camp also includes specialised workshops in the fields of professional photography, animation, mosaic art, architectural models, terrariums, pottery, and model making.

The "Youth Spring Camp" schedule of events extends throughout the month of April, embodying Sharjah Youth's commitment to empowering future generations and preparing them to play active roles in serving the community through a stimulating educational environment focused on creativity, knowledge, and the development of life skills.
