Opening channels with the community
The initiative, which was organised yesterday evening, aimed to continue opening direct channels of communication with the community and listen to comments and suggestions that reflect the aspirations of Dibba Al Hisn residents regarding public services and facilities in the city.
The session was attended by Dr. Salah Obaid Al Ghoul Al Salami, Chairman of Dibba Al Hisn City Council; and Ahmed Abdullah bin Yarouf, Chairman of the Municipal Council.

In his opening remarks, Dr. Salah Al Ghoul Al Salami emphasised that the initiative comes within the framework of enhancing effective communication with citizens, especially during the holy month of Ramadan, in line with the directives of the wise leadership, which urge attention to the needs of residents and listening to their opinions. His Excellency Dr. Salah Obaid Al Ghoul pointed out that the primary goal of the "Yalsatna" initiative is to transform the voices of residents into practical steps on the ground. He emphasised that the Council strives to serve as a link between residents and relevant authorities.

Al Ghoul explained that the Council has distributed an electronic link that allows residents to record their comments and suggestions in advance, ensuring that they are appropriately presented and discussed during the session. This enhances transparency and provides greater opportunity for everyone to participate, even those who were unable to attend.
The meeting saw active discussions and a fruitful exchange of ideas between officials and residents. The attending government department directors responded positively to all contributions and provided comprehensive explanations of current and future plans to improve the quality of life in the city.
