Sharjah24: Dr. Hussein Al-Mahdi, Co-chair of the Organizing Committee for the Second Sharjah International Conference on Education, announced that the conference will focus on artificial intelligence and the ethics of AI applications. He revealed that the event will feature 25 countries and more than 50 educational institutions, with the first day to be attended by His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler of Sharjah and President of the University of Sharjah, while the second day will be chaired by Sheikha Bodour bint Sultan Al Qasimi, President of the American University of Sharjah.
In an interview with Sharjah 24, Dr. Al-Mahdi mentioned that the conference committees had received more than 130 research papers, from which 100 papers will be selected for discussion during the two-day event. The conference will also feature specialized workshops and open discussion sessions as part of its themes, with a number of keynote speakers who are experts in the field of artificial intelligence. These experts will address how to integrate AI technologies into academic curricula at the two universities and across the nation, creating a comprehensive academic platform to discuss the latest developments in education and learning sectors.
