DCA and Sharjah Police launch Iftar initiative

Sharjah 24: In alignment with the "Year of Community" celebration, the Department of Civil Aviation (DCA) in Sharjah, in collaboration with Sharjah Police, launched an Iftar initiative on Monday with the aim of promoting solidarity and social responsibility during the holy month of Ramadan.

Distribution of 1,000 Iftar meals

The initiative involved the distribution of 1,000 Iftar meals to road users and passersby in the Maliha area, near the school complex. This gesture emphasised the values of goodness and giving, showcasing the importance of cooperation and support during Ramadan.

Volunteers join in the effort

Volunteers from the DCA played an active role in distributing the Iftar meals, expressing their enthusiasm to participate in this rewarding initiative. Their efforts contributed to enhancing the spirit of community solidarity and promoting safe driving practices, ensuring the safety of drivers and road users alike.
