Sharjah24: Al Thiqah Club held the annual Ramadan Championship as part of its Ramadan activities. The event featured 40 male and female players from various age groups with physical, hearing, and mental disabilities, attended by the club's board members and the players' parents.
Competitive spirit and sportsmanship
The championship, held at the club's facilities, showcased intense and exciting competitions that highlighted the players' skills and competitive abilities. Teams competed in an atmosphere filled with enthusiasm and high sportsmanship.

Promoting sports values
At the conclusion of the championship, Dr. Khalid Omar Al-Midfa, Chairman of the Board, emphasised the importance of such events in promoting sports values and strengthening relationships between players and their families. He noted that the club is committed to organising sports and community activities during Ramadan to enhance community engagement.

Support from families
Mohammed Abdullah Al-Qaid, a board member and acting executive director, stated that the club's management aims to organise and activate more innovative games in its programmes and activities. He also highlighted that family support for these programs is essential, as their presence during Ramadan championships serves as a motivational boost and significant psychological factor for the players.

Parents' appreciation
Parents expressed their happiness with the organisation and participation in the championship, thanking the club's management for providing a safe and encouraging environment for the athletes to engage in sports.

The championship concluded with the awarding of prizes to the top three players, accompanied by applause from the audience, who actively participated in the event's success.
