Sharjah24: Amal Al Hosani, Head of the Media and Marketing Department at the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, stated that the "Our Little Creative Chef" event is one of the innovative initiatives organised by the Chamber for the first time during the 35th edition of the Sharjah Ramadan Festival. The initiative aims to enhance family bonds through a fun and interactive atmosphere.
A Successful launch
During the competition's launch, attended by His Excellency Abdullah Sultan Al-Owais, Chairman of the Sharjah Chamber, the event attracted a large turnout of children, their families, and visitors, creating an exciting and encouraging environment.
Fostering creativity and confidence
Al-Hosani explained that the Chamber is committed to organising such innovative events that promote community interaction, support children's creativity, and boost their self-confidence and skills. Additionally, these initiatives help reinforce the institutional identity of the Chamber and the festival.
Involvement of children in the organisation
Al-Hosani praised the children’s contributions to the organisation through their participation in hosting, volunteering, and judging, reflecting their enthusiasm for the initiative and community involvement.
Judging panel of "Our Little Creative Chef"
Child participants Saud Ahmed Al-Kaabi and Sara Ibrahim Al-Hosani served on the judging panel for the "Our Little Creative Chef" competition. Saud mentioned that there are three criteria for evaluating the competition in each round: adherence to time, cleanliness, and preparation method, which determine the final results for the top positions. He added that all contestants excelled in presenting their pizza dishes with a unique touch.
