Al Hawami Council visits citizens' councils in Khorfakkan

Sharjah 24: As part of its community initiatives aimed at enhancing communication and strengthening social ties, Al Hawami Suburb Council, affiliated with Sharjah Department of Suburbs Affairs (SDSA), has visited a number of citizens' councils in Khorfakkan since the beginning of the holy month of Ramadan, in the presence of His Excellency Khalid Ahmed Buhindi, Chairman of the Council, members of the Council and its employees, in addition to a number of residents of the suburb.

Visiting the Council of Citizen Jassim Mohammed Alai Al Naqbi

The visit included the Council of Citizen Jassim Mohammed Alai Al Naqbi, where the delegation was received by a number of citizens who welcomed this initiative and expressed their appreciation for the role of the Council in strengthening the bonds of cohesion among members of society.

The attendees exchanged congratulations on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan, stressing the importance of such meetings that embody the values of communication and cohesion that characterise the Emirati society.

Council’s effort in serving citizens

During the meeting, His Excellency Khalid Ahmed Buhindi reviewed the Council's efforts in serving the residents, noting that the Council is keen on direct communication with citizens and listening to their opinions and needs. Buhindi stressed that such visits come within the Council's strategy to enhance community interaction and strengthen relations between residents and official institutions, which will positively reflect on improving the quality of life and achieving sustainable development.

In an atmosphere of harmony and community cohesion, Khorfakkan residents gathered in Al Hawami Suburb Council to exchange congratulations and greetings on the advent of the month of Ramadan, stressing the importance of community councils in strengthening social ties and consolidating neighbourhood relations, within the framework of established Emirati traditions that reflect the spirit of love and brotherhood among members of society.

Khorfakkan Hospital visit

In a humanitarian gesture that reflects the values of compassion and community solidarity, a delegation from Al Hawami Suburb Council visited Khorfakkan Hospital during the holy month of Ramadan, where they checked on the health of patients from the residents who are receiving treatment, and exchanged congratulations with them on the occasion of the holy month, wishing them a speedy recovery and providing them with moral support that embodies the spirit of cohesion among members of society.

Strengthening the spirit of brotherhood and cooperation

For their part, citizens expressed their happiness with the given opportunity to talk about their aspirations and suggestions, and stressing that such meetings contribute to strengthening the spirit of brotherhood and cooperation among the various segments of society.

During the meetings and visits, discussions were exchanged on social initiatives that could contribute to strengthening community cohesion, in addition to presenting a number of development proposals that could be worked on during the coming period.

The visits and meetings concluded with thanking the council for the warm welcome, while stressing the continuation of such initiatives that enhance the role of community councils as platforms for communication and exchange of visions and ideas, especially during the holy month of Ramadan, which is the month of brotherhood and rapprochement among members of society.
