Belhaif Al Nuaimi’s Council discusses food security, prof. Eng.

Specialist Participation

In an interview with “Sharjah24”, Dr. Al Nuaimi discussed the council's efforts in bringing together specialists and engineers to examine strategies for maintaining global food security. He highlighted the technologies employed in this sector and showcased Sharjah’s innovative initiatives, including Sabaa Sanabel flour and Mleiha milk. Professor Simon McKirdy, Vice President of Murdoch University in Australia, was present at the discussion.

Engineering Classification

Al Nuaimi further noted that the council also addressed professional engineering standards, aiming to enhance engineer classifications similar to some Gulf countries that recognise the title of professional engineer. He emphasised the importance of such discussions with experts, academics, and members of the Sharjah Consultative Council.
