Sharjah24: The 42nd edition of "Ramadan Nights" exhibition kicked off on Thursday, at Expo Centre Sharjah, and will run until 30th March.
Organised by the Centre with support from the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI), the exhibition offers an exceptional festive atmosphere with a rich programme of cultural and entertainment activities, complemented by special shopping promotions. 

Visitors can enjoy exclusive discounts of up to 75 percent on a diverse range of products offered by over 200 exhibitors from major retailers and around 500 international and local brands.

This year’s edition was inaugurated by Abdallah Sultan Al Owais, Chairman of SCCI and Expo Centre Sharjah, in the presence of  Waleed AbdelRahman BuKhatir, Second Vice Chairman of SCCI, and several members of the Sharjah Chamber’s Board of Directors.

Also present were Mohammed Ahmed Amin Al Awadi, Director-General of SCCI; Saif Mohammed Al Midfa, CEO of Expo Centre Sharjah; Abdul Aziz Al Shamsi, Assistant Director-General for Communication and Business Sector at SCCI; and Jamal Saeed Bouzanjal, Director of Corporate Communication at SCCI and General Coordinator of the Sharjah Ramadan Festival, along with senior officials from government entities.

Following the opening ceremony, attendees toured the exhibition, where they engaged with several exhibitors from major retailers, gaining insights into the array of products on display.

Attendees also indulged in some of the exhibition’s heritage-themed programmes and artistic performances showcased in the Heritage Village. They also explored exhibits curated by productive families, featuring traditional garments, handicrafts, and a selection of popular Ramadan delicacies.

Ramadan Nights 2025 witnessed a strong turnout on its opening day, with visitors flocking to Expo Sharjah to take advantage of the exhibition’s extensive retail offerings, including major discounts on leading brands, exclusive shopping deals, valuable prizes, and special giveaways. 

Alongside its commercial appeal, the exhibition provides an enriched Ramadan experience with an extensive lineup of cultural programmes, unique culinary experiences, and family-friendly entertainment activities.

Key highlights include the Iftar Corner, which offers a selection of exquisite local, Arab, and international cuisines. Additionally, children can enjoy a festive atmosphere at the Kids’ Corner, which boasts a variety of recreational activities and fun games especially designed for younger visitors. 

In his remarks, Abdallah Sultan Al Owais reaffirmed the Sharjah Chamber’s commitment to continuously supporting Expo Centre Sharjah in hosting exhibitions that coincide with significant occasions in the Emirati community, including the holy month of Ramadan. 

He noted that the “Ramadan Nights” exhibition is one of the strategic initiatives under the Sharjah Ramadan Festival. The exhibition plays a key role in stimulating economic activity during the holy month, supporting the retail sector, and promoting tourism. 

“Beyond its economic and commercial significance, the exhibition serves as a dynamic platform that enhances family tourism and showcases the richness of Emirati heritage, ensuring its preservation for future generations,” Al Owais added. 

For his part, Saif Mohammed Al Midfa said that "Ramadan Nights" exhibition has consistently succeeded in securing a prominent place among seasonal economic events eagerly anticipated by the public during the holy month. Visitors take advantage of the wide range of consumer products, competitive promotional offers, and major discounts provided by exhibitors.

He affirmed that the exhibition is expected to maintain its strong appeal, consistent with previous editions, as reflected in the remarkable visitor turnout on the opening day, surpassing initial expectations.

This year’s Ramadan Nights exhibition provides an immersive cultural experience highlighting Emirati and Islamic traditions during the holy month, with the Heritage Village presenting a variety of folk-art performances and cultural activities and competitions.

Visitors can explore an extensive collection of antiques, traditional attire, and handcrafted items while indulging in authentic Emirati cuisine, Ramadan beverages, Arabic coffee, and premium date varieties. 

The exhibition also features a distinguished selection of heritage collectibles, including antique coins, fishing tools, incense, perfumes, traditional accessories, and intricately designed palm-weaving products, reinforcing its role as a hub for cultural appreciation and historical artifacts.

The Ramadan Nights exhibition 2025, open daily from 5:00 PM to 1:00 AM throughout the holy month, showcases an extensive range of products and merchandise, spanning over 16,000 square meters of exhibition space.
