SSSD: Group Iftar for senior citizens in Sharjah

Sharjah 24: Thirty senior citizens eligible for social assistance from the Sharjah Social Services Department participated in a group Iftar organized by the Social Assistance Department at the Centro Sharjah Hotel.

Enhancing social solidarity during Ramadan

According to Alia Al Zaabi, Director of the Social Assistance Department, the initiative aims to support deserving groups and promote social solidarity during the holy month of Ramadan. This "Group Iftar" initiative is designed to bring joy to the seniors while reviving the values of giving, which the department is committed to fostering during Ramadan.

On this occasion, Al Zaabi also expressed her gratitude to the management of Centro Hotel for their humanitarian cooperation and warm reception, which helped promote social responsibility and strengthen community cohesion in serving the public.
