Sharjah 24: The Sharjah Department of Human Resources (SDHR) has organised a series of health events across its branches in collaboration with specialised healthcare providers. The initiative aims to promote public health, offer medical consultations, and provide essential health screenings for employees, particularly during the holy month of Ramadan.

Health Screenings and Nutritional Guidance

At Al Dafin branch, a health event was held in partnership with A. ePlanner, featuring several medical centres specialising in health and wellness. Employees had access to various health screenings, including blood sugar and blood pressure tests, as well as body mass index (BMI) measurements. Additionally, nutrition experts provided guidance on maintaining a balanced diet for a healthy fasting experience.

The event also included consultations on managing chronic conditions such as diabetes and hypertension, along with practical advice for sustaining daily energy levels. Informational brochures highlighting the services of participating medical centers were distributed to attendees.

Expanding Health Awareness Across Branches

A similar health initiative took place at the Dibba Al Hisn branch, where specialised medical institutions conducted screenings and consultations. The focus was on the importance of maintaining good health and adopting proper dietary habits, particularly during Ramadan.

These events reflect SDHR’s commitment to raising health awareness among employees and encouraging them to embrace a healthier lifestyle that aligns with the spiritual and physical demands of Ramadan. By providing valuable insights on balancing fasting and well-being, the initiative supports a more productive and health-conscious workforce.

Enhancing Workplace Well-Being and Productivity

By collaborating with healthcare organisations, SDHR aims to foster a healthier and more positive work environment that enhances employee performance and productivity. These initiatives are part of the department’s broader efforts to promote preventive healthcare and improve quality of life in the community.

The event witnessed strong engagement from employees, who benefited from the medical consultations, screenings, and expert advice provided.
