Sharjah 24: Sharjah Police General Command has launched a new vehicle number plate design, aligning with the approved visual identity of the emirate. The new design incorporates modern aesthetics and advanced standards to enhance service quality.

Inspired by the Vision of His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi

Major General Abdullah Mubarak bin Amer, Commander-in-Chief of Sharjah Police, stated that the new design reflects the vision of His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah. It showcases Sharjah as a global leader and a future-focused destination, in line with the emirate's strategic objectives.

Commitment to excellence and sustainable development

Major General Bin Amer highlighted Sharjah Police's ongoing efforts to adopt innovative methodologies and development practices. These efforts aim to improve the quality of life in the community and contribute to the sustainable development of the emirate.

Artistic elements and aesthetic appeal of the new plates

Colonel Khalid Mohammed Al Kai, Director of the Vehicles and Drivers Licensing Department, described the new design as incorporating artistic elements that enhance the visual appeal. The precise writing lines and harmony with other design elements contribute to the beauty of the number plates.

Replacement of old plates starting March 3, 2025

Vehicle owners will be able to replace their old number plates with the new design starting on Monday, March 3, 2025. The replacement will be available at all service centers across the emirate.
