Bayer Leverkusen beats Holstein Kiel 2-0 to regain winning form

Sharjah 24 – AFP: Bayer Leverkusen bounced back to winning ways with a 2-0 victory over Holstein Kiel in the 23rd round of the German Football League.

Amin Adli shines with goal and assist

Moroccan international Amin Adli played a key role in the win, contributing with both an assist and a goal. He set up Patrick Schick for the opening goal in the 9th minute and scored the second in the 45th minute. This performance helped Leverkusen return to form after two consecutive draws.

Adli's successful return

This victory marked Adli’s second match back after recovering from a broken leg, which had kept him sidelined since October 24. His return was marked by a strong showing against Bayern Munich in the previous match (0-0 draw).

Leverkusen closes the gap on Bayern

With the win, Bayer Leverkusen now has 50 points, narrowing the gap to league leaders Bayern Munich to just five points. The title race is heating up as Leverkusen awaits Bayern's match against Frankfurt on Sunday.
