United's second-half fightback

The visitors improved significantly after the break. Captain Bruno Fernandes scored from a free kick, pulling one back for United. Ten minutes from time, Manuel Ugarte delivered a powerful equaliser, completing a dramatic comeback to make it 2-2.

VAR denies Everton late drama

Everton thought they had snatched a win in stoppage time when awarded a penalty, but the decision was overturned after a VAR review. The match ended in a 2-2 draw, leaving United in 15th place, three spots below Everton in the Premier League standings.
