Franck Gazzola draws attention to new findings in world's oceans

Sharjah 24: Franck Gazzola, Underwater Adventure Photographer, touched on the mysterious world of the ocean, during the first day of the 9th Xposure International Photography Festival, held in Aljada. He explained how the perspective on oceans changed after 10 years of documentation and exploration.

New discoveries

He stated that what we know about the ocean has changed, expressing that what was believed to be known over the years is insignificant in comparison. He highlighted that every time we dive, we make new discoveries. We find stuff that we didn't think we would find, whether it's on corals or marine animal forests, stressing that unfortunately there are not enough resources allocated to support these discoveries.
