Photography experts share their experiences at Xposure

Sharjah 24: Astrophotographer Yousef Ahmed Al Qasimi confirmed during his participation in Xposure 2025 that the "Mleiha" area is one of the most prominent locations in the UAE for astronomical photography, due to its clear atmosphere and low light pollution. In addition, Emirati photographer Ahmed Atallah Al Raisi explained that analytical visual feedback is a necessary daily habit that contributes to developing photographers' skills and enhancing their creative vision.

Most prominent locations in UAE for astronomical photography

Yousef Ahmed Al Qasimi confirmed, in special statements to "Sharjah 24", that one of the most prominent locations in the UAE for astronomical photography is the Mleiha area in the Emirate of Sharjah, and it is one of the best places to take astronomical photographs at night, as it is characterised by low light pollution and clear skies, which made it an ideal location for observing astronomical phenomena.

Al Qasimi added that the best area for astronomical photography in the UAE is the "Razeen" area in Abu Dhabi, as it received the second classification in terms of light pollution, which makes its sky extremely clear, and it is an ideal destination for astronomical photography professionals.

Habits to improve photography

Ahmed Atallah Al Raisi explained the importance of adopting daily habits to improve photography skills, and that analytical visual feedback is one of the basic factors that help the photographer develop his artistic vision. This habit requires careful consideration of the composition, lighting and location of the image before taking it, with the aim of analysing the strengths and weaknesses of the photographic work.

Al Raisi added that the photographer imagines the shot he wants to photograph, and prepares for it mentally by building sufficient information about the scene before going to shoot, which enhances creativity and professionalism in the photographic work.
