Sharjah24: The Sharjah Institute for Heritage Chairman, Dr Abdulaziz Al Musallam, praised Al Hamriyah for its singular allure, which he said stems from the fact that it blends coastal and desert traditions. He said that Sharjah Heritage Days provide an opportunity to highlight the city's storied past and teach tourists about its genuine customs and traditions.
Al Musallam stated to Sharjah 24 that many locals have come out to celebrate the event's legacy by taking part in the Al Hamriyah Kingfish Fishing Championship and other heritage-related events.
