Al Nuaimi stressed, during the meeting, the importance of addressing the concerns of the nation and the citizens. He added that discussing various public topics helps strengthen the work of the council and meet the community’s needs through effective collaboration with government agencies.
He stated that the SCC aims to give a voice to the citizens, representing their needs and aspirations. The goal is to help improve government services and support the ongoing development of the community.
The meeting included discussions about the preparations for upcoming sessions, where several government departments will present their plans, projects, and policies.
The meeting also went over parliamentary inquiries put forth by the council members, highlighting important issues that affect citizens and ways to enhance government services according to the guidance of His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah.
The council reviewed its members' proposals to support government initiatives and services in the public interest. These proposals were discussed for potential inclusion in the council’s plans, which will then be shared with the relevant authorities.
The council also took into consideration the public’s suggestions, highlighting the importance of community involvement. This reflects the council’s commitment to engaging with the community and valuing their thoughts as essential in shaping policies and improving services.
At the end of the meeting, Al Nuaimi thanked the Office Board members and all council members for their efforts. He reiterated that the council will continue working diligently towards Sharjah’s vision of fostering a united and thriving community, guided by the principles of dialogue and cooperation to achieve lasting development and benefit all citizens and residents in the emirate.
