Sociological Association organises modern communication seminar

Sharjah 24: The Sociological Association organised a seminar entitled "Modern means of communication and its role in social development", presented by Dr. Is'af Ahmed Hamad, and moderated by Fatima Al Zayoudi, in Al Qasimia University Theatre Hall.

Attendance

The seminar was attended by members of the Board of Directors: Dr. Ruqayya Al Raisi, Chairperson of the Board of Directors, and Dr. Salah Al Mazroui, Vice Chairman, in addition to members of the Sociological Association and university students.

Seminar discussion

The seminar addressed the impact of modern means of communication such as social media and digital platforms on societies. It discussed how to benefit from them in promoting social development and effective communication between individuals, as well as the importance of these means in spreading awareness and exchanging knowledge.

The event witnessed great interaction from the attendees, as many questions and discussions were raised that added depth to the topic.

Dr. Is'af stressed the need to use these means positively to achieve development goals.
