Sharjah24: Abu Bakr Al-Kindi, the General Coordinator of Sharjah Heritage Days, announced today the details of the 22nd edition of the event, which takes place under the theme "Roots." This year's theme highlights the origins of heritage items and will run from February 12 to 23 in the heritage area at the heart of Sharjah.
Al-Kindi stated that the current edition of Sharjah Heritage Days features over 1,111 performances of Gulf and Arab folklore, showcasing the rich cultural and artistic diversity of this annual event. This makes it a key destination for heritage and folklore enthusiasts. The event space has been expanded by over 77,000 square meters, now named "Al-Sour Square," to accommodate various heritage activities and provide a rich experience for visitors that blends the past with the present in a uniquely traditional atmosphere.

Invitation to the community
Al-Kindi encouraged all community members and visitors to participate in this heritage event, which reflects the richness of Emirati and Arab heritage. It offers a comprehensive cultural experience that combines art, history, and education in a festive environment that enhances the value of heritage in the hearts of new generations.
