Mariam Al Kaabi: The next 25 years will be unlike any before

Sharjah 24: Her Excellency Ambassador Mariam Al Kaabi, Permanent Representative of the UAE to the Arab League and Ambassador to Egypt, emphasised the significance of the World Government Summit as a platform for future planning. She highlighted that this approach aligns with the UAE’s strong belief in anticipating the future to better serve governments.

Impact of AI and advanced technology

Ambassador Al Kaabi noted that the coming 25 years will differ drastically from previous human history, particularly with the rise of artificial intelligence and advanced technologies. These topics were prominently discussed at the World Government Summit, which was launched under the theme “Anticipating Future Governments.”

Major forum for global collaboration

In her statement to Sharjah 24, Al Kaabi emphasised that the summit serves as a vital platform for exchanging modern practices. The summit saw participation from over 140 countries, including more than 30 heads of state and government, as well as 80 international organisations, fostering a large interactive global forum.
