Al Kait highlighted the UAE's contributions during its presidency of the 114th session, noting its efforts to advance social progress through initiatives like the Arab Reading Challenge, which plays a key role in driving social development in the region.
Al Kait officially handed over the presidency to Bahrain for the 115th session, wishing the country success in continuing to support Arab development efforts and the Arab Economic and Social Council’s work across multiple sectors to promote prosperity for Arab nations.
The draft agenda for the Social Committee includes a review of the implementation of resolutions from the 114th session and the activities of the General Secretariat. It also covers the social aspects of the economic and social dossier for the 34th regular session of the Arab League Council, scheduled to be held in Iraq.
