The forum highlighted success stories from selected member projects and recognised esteemed partners, supporters, and suppliers. The Project Evaluation and Classification Programme presented awards to exceptional projects and businesses that contributed to the "Min Khair Ruwadna" Ramadan initiative. Government entities that supported the Government Procurement Programme and its leading projects were likewise acknowledged.
The event commenced with the UAE national anthem and a recitation from the Quran, subsequently featuring a video presentation that showcased Ruwad’s significant accomplishments in 2024, encompassing financing, consultancy, membership, and training services.
The foundation prominently highlighted its initiatives in offering business incubators and engaging in entrepreneurial events both locally and internationally.
Amina Mohammed, director of training, research, and events at Ruwad, emphasised the foundation’s dedication to fostering a vibrant entrepreneurial ecosystem in Sharjah during her speech. She highlighted Ruwad’s growing services and ongoing support for Emirati entrepreneurs, underscoring its contribution to establishing Sharjah as a centre for business innovation.
She also highlighted the introduction of the Industrial Sector Financing Programme, which has a ceiling of AED 800,000 and is designed to bolster industrial entrepreneurship. Furthermore, Ruwad coordinated training programmes and networking events aimed at fostering project development in the agricultural and industrial sectors to promote sustainable economic diversification.
The forum featured the official Ruwad anthem, honouring the impactful contributions of young entrepreneurs in society. Attendees viewed a documentary showcasing the achievements of initiatives like "Tara Pet" by Emirati entrepreneur Hamad Al Marzouqi and "Trips World" by Hassan Al Sayari. Additionally, Abdullah Al Shamsi, founder of "Digital Warehouses," delivered a presentation on the significance of partnerships and perseverance in achieving business success.
At the conclusion of the event, Hamad Ali Abdullah Al Mahmoud, along with Amina Mohammed, recognised 14 public and private sector entities as strategic partners, five suppliers, and nine government entities that have supported the Government Procurement Programme.
The forum acknowledged the two leading projects in government contracts, celebrated five winners in the Project Classification Programme, and honoured 11 businesses that contributed to the Ramadan initiative.
